Visitors to San Francisco should use the same vigilance as in any major U.S. city, as muggings and other crime can occur. Utilize safety deposit boxes in hotels for valuables, and keep your belongings close when carrying them with you. Remove your Name Badge when walking outside of the Moscone Center.
