Visa Requirements

Most visitors to the United States require a visa to enter the country, unless they are coming from a country that participates in the Visa Waiver Program (www.travel.state.gov/visa) If you require a visa to enter the United States, please check with your local United States Embassy or Consulate to obtain the necessary documentation as soon as possible. Visa Waiver Program (VWP) New Requirement Effective January 19, 2009

Travelers from Visa Waiver Program (VWP) countries are required to complete a web-based application at least 72 hours prior to departure. Go to https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/esta/esta.html?_flowExecutionKey=_cC54562D4-6FCD-EF79-9258-A49A799FFB04_kF7372E77-6DE0-D032-FA4C-A59A2CE64807 to submit an application. Effective January 19, 2009 all travelers from VWP countries will be required to obtain an ESTA approval prior to boarding a carrier for travel by air or sea to the United States under the VWP.
