2010 Ambrose/Reed Socioeconomics Prize Essay Contest
In acknowledgement of Drs. Samuel S. Ambrose and Josiah F. Reed, Jr.'s accomplishments in the socioeconomics arena, and thanks to an unrestricted educational grant made by Olympus, the American Urological Association Education and Research, Inc. is pleased to present the 2010 Ambrose/Reed Socioeconomics Prize Essay Contest. The topic of the essay may be any aspect of socioeconomic issues affecting urologic practice and patient care.

The deadline for essays has passed. Submissions are no longer being accepted.
Eligibility:
This contest is open to all AUA members (all categories). Entries winning first prize in AUA Section essay contests may be submitted to the national contest by the respective Section's Secretary. Contestants must submit a copy of their 2010 Abstract with their essay manuscript to the AUA Headquarters Office (see contest rules).

Recognition:
The winning essay will be presented during the 2010 AUA Annual Meeting in San Francisco, CA, subject to approval of the AUA Program Committee.
